Chard Reservoir Heritage and Conservation
Heritage Open Day: Visitors can have a brief chat about the history and heritage of the reservoir, and the conservation work that has gone on for many years to keep it as the wonderful reserve you see today. Blackberries may also be on offer for tasting! Members of the public can come and have a chance to learn more about the reservoir's history, and the work that has been done to restore parts of the heritage that the reservoir brought to Chard over a century ago.
