Heritage Open Day: Visit Drapers Hall built 1575 - see the original furniture - listen to the talk on the history of the Shrewsbury Wool Merchants and their Hall. Decorated in the style of the Shrewsbury School of carpentry this timber frame building dates from the last quarter of the sixteenth century. and has been the headquarters of the Shrewsbury Drapers Company for over 400 years. In addition to the Hall, the furniture within was built for the Company by local craftsmen and comprises tables
