Pause for Hope Ecumenical service for anyone affected by cancer
The Pause for Hope service is open to all who have in any way been affected by cancer.
The Speaker at this event is Fiona Castle OBE, (widow of Roy Castle). This lady is a wonderful and eloquent orator and will speak on the emotional aspect of dealing with cancer.
This organisation was founded in 1999 by Professor Ray Donnelly MBE who is a retired surgeon who in 1990 founded a cancer charity which became the Roy Castle Lung Foundation.
Pause for Hope works : to bring together in prayer thos
No ticket required - a free event. Commences at 3.00 pm for approximately one hour and will be followed by Tea and biscuits.
Free parking on Lowergate car park almost opposite the Church.
