Be Your Own Boss: an Insight into Starting up your own Business

Keen to prepare the girls of Scotland with the skills and confidence for a future in business, St Margaret's School for Girls and the Women’s Business Centre (WBC*) are joining forces for a webinar on Tuesday 21st of September at 7 pm which looks to inspire and empower young school-age girls to consider entrepreneurship as a career choice.

The event will be chaired by Carolyn Currie, Chief Executive of Women's Enterprise Scotland (WES) and we will also hear from Katie Birrell who recently graduated from University and joined WES, on her first impressions of business. Professor Elizabeth Gammie, Professor of Accounting at the Robert Gordon University where she is Head of the Aberdeen Business School, will also be joining.

The event is open to girls from all schools in Scotland and we look forward to exploring business start up with you on 21st September!
