Sunday Special Workshop: Creativity for Wellbeing

Arts is well recognised as having a valuable role in mention health. Creativity can help us to relax, boost our confidence, make us feel more engaged and resilient, and it is a space to express ourselves freely. Art engagement has been shown to alleviate anxiety, depression and stress.
In this one-day workshop you will be introduced to the benefits of creativity, create art that is personal to you and you can be proud of, with techniques to continue at home. We will mix art and music and be inspired by traditional folk art. Make and create all with the idea of relaxation and well-being at the forefront of our mind, from mindfulness in art to immersing yourself in your creation.
Equipment is provided by if you have preferred fine liners and watercolours or acrylics please feel free to bring these along.
Classes must be booked in advance.
