Thursday 20 June, Helmingham Hall Visit, by Car Share
Guided tour of the Fabulous Gardens by the Head Gardener, and a wander around the Grounds + Helmingham Church Visit.
Arrive at Helmingham Hall, in Mid-Suffolk, Address: near Stowmarket IP14 6EF at 12:30. Garden Tour starts at 1:00pm.
We will use Car Sharing – so if you need a lift – or can help someone else please say! The whole visit cost is £16:00 per person.
You will have to pay for any refreshments you may purchase in the Weavers Restaurant.
After the Tour around the Gardens- we will have a refreshment break - and then make our way to Helmingham Church - on the edge of the Estate =- via a pathway through the Estate.
The Church could be described as being a mini-Cathedral - with many elaborate memorials - many to the Tollemache Family - who have owned and lived in Helmingham Hall for MANY centuries.
All Family History Society members and others can demonstrate their Church Crawling expertise

Special Outside Visit to Helmingham Hall, in mid-Suffolk - with a Garden Tour by their Head Gardener IP14 6EF
Arrive at Helmingham Hall at 12:30 p.m. Thursday 20th June. Pay £8 entry + £8 Guided Garden Tour = £16 . at the Admissions desk.From there we go to the gardens - where the Guided Tour starts at 1:0p.m.
