Folklore of Trees - Sunset Walk
Trees have been the subjects of myths and legends since prehistoric times. Herbalists and healers have long used trees in traditional medicine and healing rituals and still do today.
On this sunset walk around Chichester's beautiful tree-lined Oaklands Park and the nearby Haverstoke Park, you will learn the central roles that many common species of native trees have played in our folklore, from fending off evil spirits to charming away warts!
