Mary Seacole - storytelling at the Museum of London

Meet Mary Seacole, nineteenth century nurse, traveller, businesswoman and writer from Jamaica. Hear about her ’amazing adventures in different lands’ and her experiences as a nurse during the Crimean war- with a reputation which rivalled Florence Nightingale’s- and as a black woman in Victorian London.
