Handel's Messiah
It’s time to start your Christmas celebrations in traditional fashion with Salford Choral Society and Handel’s much-loved masterpiece Messiah. Soloists Fiona Finsbury (soprano) Emily Cobley (mezzo) Chris Why (tenor) and David Cane (bass) are joined by orchestra Baroque in the North under the direction of Conductor Tom Newall.
Salford Choral have performed Messiah every year since their foundation in 1947 and only lockdown last year prevented a live performance. Not to be stopped it was performed online with the same soloists!
