Nuneaton Abbey & The Birth of a Town
Drawing on historical research and museum archaeological collections and specially commissioned artwork this exhibition explores the significance of one of the most important buildings to have existed in Nuneaton and examines the lives of the people who lived there. In January 2022it will also feature the loan of The Nuneaton Book, a medieval manuscript from the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge. The exhibition is part of a wider community project about Nuneaton Abbey which will be running until June 2022 in partnership with St Mary’s Abbey Church, Nuneaton. It is supported with funding from Arts Council National Lottery Project Grants.

Bank Holiday Mondays 10:30am – 4:30pm
FREE admission but donations welcome. There is no need to book ahead of your visit, but details will be taken on entry for track and trace purposes. A queuing system will also be in place to manage capacity.
