O Radiant Dawn - Music and Readings for Christmas

O Radiant Dawn – Music and Readings for Christmas

Saint James’s Singers ever popular Christmas concert will take place in St Mary’s Warwick on Saturday 18th December at 7:30 pm.

We are thrilled to announce that David Troughton will be the reader for the 2021 concert. Stratford-based David is an audience favourite. He excels in roles varying from the comic figures of Bottom and Falstaff to the tragic roles of Kent in King Lear and the title role in Titus Andronicus. His numerous television roles include Outnumbered, A Very Peculiar Practice, The Last Detective and New Tricks.

The music will bring out the joy and magic of Christmas. Carols will include McMillan’s compelling O Radiant Dawn, Rutter’s Star Carol and Julian Harris’s hilarious arrangement of The Twelve Days of Christmas which accompanies John Julius Norwich’s brilliant Thank You Letters. There will also be several favourites for the audience to join in. Readings will include extracts from A Christmas Carol and The Wind in the Willows as well as some inspiring poetry to capture the spirit of Christmas and to bring a smile to all.
Tickets are £17.50, £12.50 and £10 from the Saint James’s Singers’ box office on 07359 114362.
