Kings Barrow - Open Garden for NGS
Several acres of garden built around a structure of mature hedges and trees. The lawn edged with herbaceous borders dominates and via an avenue of yews leads to a woodland walk encompassing an ancient Barrow. A walled garden is split into a vegetable patch, cutting patch and party area. Roses abound throughout and swathes of bluebells are visible in spring. An orchard completes the garden.
Sat 30 Apr, Sun 1 May, Sat 4, Sun 5 June (1-5). Admission £5, Children free. Home-made teas. Times:13:00 to 17:00. Open for charity.
