The Old Vicarage - Open Garden for NGS
Glorious garden with mixed flowering borders and mature trees in gentle valley with fantastic views to Black Rocks. All-season interest. Acid loving plants such as camellias and rhododendrons are grown in pots in courtyard garden. Tender ferns and exotic plants grown in fernery. Beyond is the orchard, fruit garden, vegetable patch and greenhouse, the home of honey bees, doves and hens.
Sun 10 July (11-5); Sun 18 Sept (11-4). Admission £4, Children free. Home-made teas at the house with limited seating in kitchen and fernery if raining. Times:11:00 to 17:00. Open for charity.
