Ashridge House - Open Garden for NGS
The gardens cover 190 acres forming part of the Grade II Registered Landscape of Ashridge Park. Based on designs by Humphry Repton in 1813 and modified by Jeffry Wyatville. A collection of small secluded gardens, as well as a large lawn area leading to avenues of trees. 2013 marked the 200th anniversary of Repton presenting Ashridge with the Red Book, detailing his designs for the estate.
For NGS: Tue 14, Wed 15, Thur 16 June (9-6). Admission £5, Children £2.50. Times:09:00 to 18:00. Open for charity.
