Hale Village Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
The delightful village of Hale is set in rural South Merseyside between Widnes and Liverpool Airport. It is home to the cottage, sculpture and grave of the famous giant known as the Childe of Hale. Five gardens of various sizes have been developed by their present owners. There are 3 gardens (a large skilfully landscaped one and two beautiful contemporary ones) to the west of the village and 2 gardens in Church Rd to the east of the village, one colourful herbaceous and the other mixed planting with substantial vegetable plot. Optional off-road parking for 33 Hale Rd on Hale Service Station forecourt.
Sat 25, Sun 26 June (12-5). Combined adm £5, Children free. Home-made teas at 66 Church Road & cold drinks at 33 Hale Road. Times:12:00 to 17:00. Open for charity.
