The New Barn - Open Garden for NGS
A large, sloping garden of ¾ acre with wonderful views. Entering via a side gate you will follow a narrow path which opens up into what feels like a large secret garden, different levels and spaces add to this illusion enabling you to admire the planting and views. This is a well-established plantsmans garden with many unusual plants, inc a collection of Asters, Benton irises and collection of geranium phaeum. A kitchen garden and small orchard with newly planted Leicestershire heritage fruit trees provide additional interest. A wide range of asters, chrysanthemums and architectural grasses provide extensive autumn colour.
