Shortridge Hall - Open Garden for NGS
A newly planted 3½ acre garden based on a design by well-known landscape designer, Adam Frost. The garden surrounds a Victorian Hall and has lots of interest, including wildflower meadows, a woodland garden, herbaceous and mixed shrub borders, mixed rose garden and ornamental ponds. A small walled garden houses the greenhouse and a cutting garden. There are significant, but young hedges.
Sat 23 July (1.30-5.30). Admission £6, Children free. Home-made teas. Times:13:30 to 17:30. Open for charity.
