East Haddon Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
The pretty village of East Haddon dates back to the Norman invasion. The oldest surviving building is St Mary's, a C12 church. The village has many thatched cottages built in the local honey-coloured ironstone. Other features inc a thatched village pump and fire station which used to house a hand drawn pump and is now used as the bus shelter. The village is less than 10 mins from Coton Manor Gardens.
Thur 2 June (1-5). Combined adm £6, Children free. Home-made teas at St Mary's Church. Times:13:00 to 17:00. Open for charity.
