Lordington House - Open Garden for NGS
Early C17 house (not open) and walled gardens in South Downs National Park. Clipped yew and box, lawns, borders and fine views. Vegetables, fruit and poultry in the kitchen garden. 100+ roses planted since 2008. Trees both mature and young. Lime avenue planted in 1973 to replace elms. Wildflowers in field outside walls, accessible from garden.
Sat 4, Sun 5 June (2-5). Admission £5, Children free. Home-made teas. Times:14:00 to 17:00. Open for charity.
