Southill Park - Open Garden for NGS
Southill Park first opened its gates to NGS visitors in 1927. A large garden with mature trees and flowering shrubs, herbaceous borders, a formal rose garden, sunken garden, ponds and kitchen garden. It is on the south side of the 1795 Palladian house. The parkland was designed by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown. A large conservatory houses the tropical collection.
Sun 5 June (2-5). Admission £6, Children free. Home-made teas. Times:14:00 to 17:00. Open for charity.
