Teignmouth Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
The picturesque coastal town of Teignmouth has 2 new gardens joining this large group, plus the beautifully restored Orangery, built in 1842. A wide range of garden styles and sizes to be explored this year from very small but inspiring manicured gardens to large wildlife havens. Features include Mediterranean courtyards, Japanese garden, greenhouses, pollinator friendly planting, exotic plants, streams and ponds, fruit and vegetable beds and stunning sea views from several of the gardens. Home-made teas can be enjoyed from the large bee and butterfly friendly garden at High Tor, overlooking the sea. If you plan to see all 13 gardens, you may wish to start on Sat. Tickets are valid for both days.
Sat 18, Sun 19 June (11-5). Combined adm £7, Children free. Home-made teas at High Tor, Cliff Road. Times:11:00 to 17:00. Open for charity.
