Madresfield Court - Open Garden for NGS
Gardens mainly laid out in 1865, based on three avenues of oak, cedar and lombardy poplar, within and around which are specimen trees and flowering shrubs. Meadows within the avenues covered in daffodils, and later, fritillaries, bluebells, cowslips etc. Recent rhododendron plantings. Holly hedge enclosure with 100m walk of peonies and irises, next to a crescent tunnel of pollarded limes.
Sun 22 May (12-5). Admission £10, Children £4. Tea. Times:12:00 to 17:00. Open for charity.
