Flower Festival
St Andrews Compton Dundon will be celebrating a Flower Festival from Saturday May 25th to Monday May 27h, 2024 from 10am to 5pm. The aim is to celebrate Compton Dundon with flower arrangements and pictures covering every aspect of the organisations which keep the village energised. From Farming and Thatching to the Craft Club. The event will culminate with a Songs of Praise at 6.00pm on Sunday evening when wine and nibbles will be served. Cake, tea and coffee will be available each day as well as plants, books and produce for sale. If anyone wishes to sponsor an arrangement please contact the organiser on 01458 272371. The village held a very successful Cream Tea organised by the Events Committee at the Village Hall and raised considerable funds towards the cost of the flowers for the festival. The disabled are provided with car parking adjacent to the gate into the churchyard, otherwise parking is on Peak Lane.
10am to 5pm. Donations for St Andrews.
