The Importance of Being Earnest

Tuesday 26th July, 7pm | Suitable for all ages | Approx. 110mins and includes an interval

Immersion Theatre invite you to enjoy an afternoon of open-air decadence and hilarity as they proudly present Oscar Wilde’s wittiest comedy, The Importance of Being Earnest.

Join foppish bachelors Jack and Algernon on their latest Bunburying exploits replete with mistaken identities, icy women, trivial banter and of course, muffins! Prepare your cucumber sandwiches and spend the afternoon in the glorious sunshine enjoying one of literature’s most trivial comedies for serious people…there’ll be handbags at dawn!

Held in the stunning Arundells garden in the shadow of Salisbury Cathedral. Come early and enjoy a wander around or stretch your legs in the interval.

Tickets £15

The garden will open from 6pm and the performance will start at 7pm.

Please note that this is an outdoor performance come rain or shine, so please do bring the appropriate attire with you as there is no covered area. There will be loos available on site but no there is no parking at Arundells, we recommend using city centre car parks or you could book a space in the Cathedral car park.
