Antiques in the Street
Another wonderful opportunity to pick up some fantastic antique, vintage, retro and craft items for Christmas gifts or for youself with over 25 traders and, of course, some of Swadlincote's wonderful high street shops full of curiosities, arts, crafts, and gifts at the last Antiques in the Street for 2022.
Take advantage of free valuations from one of the UK's finest auction houses and family run business, Bamfords, with the enigmatic James Lewis in attendance (1-3pm), one of the country's most recognised faces in the antiques industry.
Make a day of it and visit Sharpe's Pottery Musuem with its Grade II listed bottle kiln and intriguing collections that include an array of Sharpe’s world famous toilets, rare examples from the Bretby Art Pottery and the popular and well known T.G. Green’s blue and cream striped Cornishware. Complete your day with a bite to eat or a drink at one of Swadlincote's eateries. Choose from Five at Delph, Ice & Slice at the Kiln, No2 Coffee House on The Delph, Sweet Caroline's at Sharpe's Pottery Museum, the Sir Nigel Gresley Free House (Weatherspoons), Prezzo or the Tall Chimney at The Pipeworks.
Antiques in the Street is a popular street market offering antiques, collectables, vintage and retro homewares, garden items, automobilia and more. Held quarterly this event attracts traders and visitors from all over Derbyshire and beyond. Trader enquiries are welcome.
