Take advantage of free valuations from one of the UK's finest auction houses and family run business, Bamfords, with the enigmatic James Lewis in attendance (1-3pm), one of the country's most recognised faces in the antiques industry.
Make a day of it and visit Sharpe's Pottery Musuem with its Grade II listed bottle kiln and intriguing collections that include an array of Sharpe’s world famous toilets, rare examples from the Bretby Art Pottery and the popular and well known T.G. Green’s blue and cream striped Cornishware. Complete your day with a bite to eat or a drink at one of Swadlincote's eateries. Choose from Five at Delph, Ice & Slice at the Kiln, No2 Coffee House on The Delph, Sweet Caroline's at Sharpe's Pottery Museum, the Sir Nigel Gresley Free House (Weatherspoons), Prezzo or the Tall Chimney at The Pipeworks.
