Gilbert and Sullivan’s Iolanthe
Come and watch Gilbert and Sullivan’s Iolanthe, performed by the Knaphill and St John’s Operatic Group, a local amateur dramatics group established more than 50 years ago, in the Rhoda McGaw Theatre in Woking.
The popular Gilbert and Sullivan show Iolanthe was 140 years old on 25th November; the first performance was at the Savoy Theatre, London on 25th November 1882. The ways in which this opera satirises many aspects of British government, law and society may still ring true in the current day and age!

Performances are scheduled from Wednesday 1st March to Saturday 4th of March. Daily start at 19:30 with a Saturday Matinee starting at 14:30. Ticket price is £19. There is a special price of £8 for children under 16 (accompanied by an adult). An ATG booking fee of £1.95 will apply to all bookings.
