Meditation Course - Five Ways to Detox Your Mind
WEEKLY MEDITATION CLASSES IN READING
Every Tuesday 7.00pm (excluding term breaks)
Detox your mind and discover the inner causes of tension, stress and unpeaceful thoughts. Learn how to clear your mind of clutter and replace negative states of mind with a more positive and peaceful outlook. During this course, Buddhist nun Gen Nyingpo will explain three practical methods and guide meditations allowing you to experience a mental detox.
The course is suitable for everyone.
June 21: Breaking bad mental habits and cultivating good habits
June 28: Freedom from craving
July 5: Dealing with difficulties
July 12: Gaining freedom from jealousy
July 19: Coping with uncertainty
These weekly meditation classes include 2 guided meditations and a practical teaching on how to apply the ancient wisdom of Buddha’s teachings to busy modern life.
These classes are run as courses but you don't need to attend the full course and can just come along to individual classes as you wish.
They are also available online livestreamed and available to view for one week.
Classes are taught by the Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Nyingpo. She has a wealth of experience having been ordained as a Buddhist nun for 25 years and taught for many years internationally. Her teachings are warm and inspiring and she understands the challenges people face in their lives, offering practical advice and solutions for the modern world.
