Shallman Quashie – Transcendent Kingdom
Shallman Quashie was born in Accra, the capital of Ghana in West Africa, in 1974 before moving to England in 2001. As a little boy growing up, he found himself always drawing: on the cover of his notebooks, and on the walls both at school and at home. Since his teenage years, his aim as an artist has been to fill the canvas or paper with life and energy, to put the viewer in a state of disbelief and take them on a mental journey.
