Combermere Abbey's Public Tours

Public tours of Combermere Abbey will open on Tuesday 5th April and run through until Thursday 7th July. Tours will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons. Guests travel from far and wide to catch a glimpse of the abbey’s history that dates back to 1133 and discover its many secrets.

In partnership with Historic Houses, Combermere Abbey will also be holding its special Invitation to View tours for history fanatics on Tuesday 10th May, Tuesday 14th June, and Tuesday 12th July, all at 2pm. This includes a private showing of the abbey and an afternoon tea with its owner, giving a chance to ask plenty of questions.

Group tours will also be available for friends and families wishing to explore the abbey together.

Bookings should be made online via the Combermere Abbey website in advance, and details on how to do so will be released shortly.

Those travelling from further afield to enjoy the tours can stay overnight in a self-catering, dog-friendly holiday cottage or one of two North Wing luxury B&B suites.
2pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 5th April and 7th July.
