Trestle School of Drama | Easter Holiday Workshops 2022
This Easter Trestle will be running 2 unique day long projects packed full of drama and games for ages 5-10 and 11-16. Participants will spend the day learning new skills from Trestle trained specialists and exploring the theme to create their own story to share back at the end of the day.
Messed Up Myths
Tuesday 5th April | Ages 5 – 10 | 10am - 3pm
What if the Greeks got it wrong and Zeus wasn’t in charge? What if Poseidon was the god of the plants? What if Medusa was bald?
Join Trestle for the day as we answer all those questions and more through drama games and techniques, and share our findings in a fun sharing at the end of the day!
Modern Myths
Wednesday 6th April | Ages 11 – 16 | 10am - 3pm
Have you ever wondered what Zeus would be like in 2022? Would Medusa be on TikTok? What if Poseidon was a leading climate activist?
Join Trestle for the day as we meet the myths and bring them into the 21st century through drama games and techniques. In our sharing at the end of the day, we’ll show you what a modern myth would really look like.
