The Combined Approach for the Management of Eczema

Dr Alpa Kanji, Dermatologist at St John's Institute for Dermatology will speak about habit reversal and cognitive behavioural therapy. This approach, when combined with topical treatments, can help break the ‘itch-scratch’ cycle, address sleep difficulties and tackle feelings of depression and low self-esteem commonly associated with this chronic skin disease.
Eczema is a common skin condition, affecting 1 in 5 children and up to 1 in 10 adults in the UK and its prevalence is increasing globally.
