SIx Streets Arts Trail

Every other year since 2011 (except for covid hit 2021), the Six Streets area has transformed into a mini arts festival over a June weekend with exhibitions, open gardens, live music, activities, and ‘pop-up’ cafes. Residents open their homes to host over 50 artists & makers including painters, printers, textile artists, ceramicists, photographers, musicians, and jewellery-makers. A number of local businesses, a school, churches and halls also act as venues. Poetry and music are included in the trail.

Across the area are a variety of pop up cafes as well as local businesses offering food and drink - not all are marked on the trail guide allowing that element of surprise!

It all takes place in Derby off Kedleston Road between White Street and Longford Street and over to Broadway. Six Streets Arts Trail is a not-for-profit event led by a very small group of local volunteers relying on guide sales and exhibitor fees to cover costs.

Parking is an issue in the core area streets. There is free on street parking along Broadway DE22 1BP, along West Bank Ave DE22 1AP and Highfield Road DE22 1GX. We ask you not to park over dropped kerbs.
