Guild Crafts Tetbury
The Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen are thrilled to be back with in person contemporary design and craft events presenting Guild Crafts Tetbury, a selling exhibition at the Market House, Tetbury from 21 – 29 May 2022
Sixteen members of The Guild will show their creativity and craftsmanship at the fair which brings an opportunity to view, buy and commission unique handcrafted work across all media and to also see how pieces are made. Every day a designer / maker in jewellery, ceramics, weaving, book making, and basketry will demonstrate how they work and also explain their inspirations and techniques to visitors.
The Gloucestershire Guild has invited two guest exhibitors to join them in Tetbury; wood engraver Molly Lemon and knitwear designer Henrietta Park.
Special space is being made to show the works of two esteemed former Guild members, Don White (Woodturner) and Chris Noble (Printmaker) who sadly passed in the last year.
Expect exquisite pieces from all disciplines including ceramics by Alistair Young and Janine Roper, unique jewellery pieces by Allan Vallis and Fionna Hesketh, textiles to wear by Jan Knibbs and Sarah Beadsmoore, textile for the home by Liz Lippiatt and Jessie James, and wonderful willow weaving by basket maker Susan Early.
