Firekettle Events Antiques & Collectables Fair
Visiting Antiques & Collectables Fairs is just like life in some ways; to coin a famous phrase, “just like a box of chocolates – you never know what you’re gonna get”.
That’s the fun in browsing, even if you’re not an avid collector or looking for an heirloom, there is a place in everyone’s life for that certain piece. Possibly art, crystal to catch the sunlight, a bowl to deposit the keys or something for the garden like a chimney pot for your favourite trailing plants.
The Antiques and Collectables fair at Coolings provides all this and more. We have a super group of friendly dealers who are keen to provide an enjoyable and informative experience to the visitors. Some dealers are specialists and display a compilation of seriously unique pieces to delight those looking to add to their collections. Others concentrate on one form of craftsmanship – perhaps glass, ceramic or metalwork - and some show a cross-section of pieces from one particular period. All, however, have one thing in common; their stock is constantly changing so you may always be surprised by what you discover!

Our free-to-enter fairs are held in a huge glasshouse so the setting is as light and bright as it can get. Lots of space to wander round the stalls, an award-winning garden centre backdrop and a great café. We have only two events each year – Spring and Autumn, any other time and the glasshouse could be too hot or cold. In Spring, some of the space is used for growing, so it’s not as large as the Autumn event, nevertheless, there is always a minimum of forty stalls. The next fair is on the weekend of 15th & 16th October. See us just a couple of miles from J4 of the M25.
