Walking tour of South Ormsby Estate

South Ormsby Estate has partnered with the Lincolnshire Wolds Outdoor Festival to host daily walking tours through it's beautiful landscape

Guests will experience jaw-dropping views and mouth-watering local produce, as they learn about ecology, local history and local enterprise with a tour of the award-winning Massingberd-Mundy Distillery.

Walkers will also be treated to a hearty lunch of locally reared beef from the Massingberd-Mundy Lincoln Red Beef herd and try an experimental luxury dessert that's still in development.

The Lincolnshire Wolds Outdoor Festival 2022 is a brand new event which kicks off this spring with an array of exciting activities across the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The spiritual successor to the Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival, the programme encourages people to get out and explore the stunning scenery of the Wolds with events and activities.

The guided tours at South Ormsby Estate will let walkers explore the historic parkland near South Ormsby Hall before venturing through secluded woodland and expansive fields, taking in amazing views over the Wolds and spotting some of the area’s diverse plant and animal life including the estate’s original population Lincoln Red cattle and poultry.
The three mile guided tours at South Ormsby Estate are free for members of the public who also register as Friends of South Ormsby Estate, and £5 for non-members. Registering as a friend is completely free and can be done at the time of booking a guided walk.

Tours run every day from 1-4pm but must be booked in advance. Gin samples are limited to over 18s and good footwear and weather appropriate clothing is strongly recommended. The walks are suitable for families but dogs are not welcome.
