Hereford Police Male Voice Choir
Situated in the beautiful church of St Mary Magdalene, Leintwardine. This choir achieved national recognition in 2008 when it participated in the BBC competition, The Last Choir Standing, performing on television a number of times and reaching the final stages of the competition. For more than 10 years, the Choir has organised a Bursary Competition for young musicians, awarding a top prize of £1000 annually and offering performance opportunities. The most recent winner is Eleanor Dunn, an aspiring soprano who features in the concert. Today, Hereford Police Male Choir’s ranks are open to men from all walks of life. The choir rehearses in Hereford Courtyard Theatre at 7.15pm each Tuesday and new members are welcome.
Doors open at 6.30pm for 7.00pm start. Tickets sell at £15.00 (£12.00 concessions) FREE for students in full time education.
