Join Turn End Trust for our annual off-site garden visit. This year we are hosting a very special garden visit to two contrasting gardens in Buckinghamshire, each with captivating stories. A two course luncheon (with wine by donation) will be served in the glorious converted barn at Kingsbridge Farm.
Our unique day, starts with visiting Abbots House Garden, a garden set in approximately ¾ acre and consisting of five rooms divided by steps; a yard and courtyard, lower lawned area with pond, upper woodland area, swimming-pool garden and a Victorian walled garden with glass houses, potager and wild meadow. Abbots House Garden interlinked rooms provide a variety of micro-climates and habitats for plants and wildlife. Arrive for morning coffee, followed by an introduction from owner Mrs Jane Rennie before exploring the garden at your leisure.
We then depart for Steeple Claydon to visit Kingsbridge Farm. Here, enjoy an introduction to the garden by owner Mrs Serena Aldous followed by a delicious two-course luncheon in the converted barn, and then explore the garden at your leisure - you’ll be greeted by enticing vistas at every turn. The garden includes a gazbeo, rose arbour, an array of shrub roses, pleached hornbeam with far reaching viewing across a haha to the countryside, stunning herbaceous beds, a pool area and a beautiful, planted woodland walk with stream meandering through.
