Introduction to Freshwater Ecology

Think pond-dipping for grown-ups!
This one-day workshop will introduce participants to the principles of freshwater surveying, with a focus on the aquatic invertebrates and flora found on our reserve.
Suitable for beginners keen to understand the basic principles behind environmental surveying. Participants will spend most of the day out on the reserve doing practical work.
Refreshments will be provided but attendees will need to provide their own lunches.
Location: H20 Thames Water building at courtyard
Time: 10am (Duration 5 hours)
Price: £50 per person, plus paid admission to the Centre. Booking essential.
Please be aware that normal admission charges apply - if you are NOT a WWT member you will need to purchase an online entrance ticket in addition to your event.
