Worcester G & S Society: The Wreckers of Red Rock
Using a selection of the beautiful music from the Gilbert and Sullivan Operettas, this over the top Victorian melodrama with elements of pantomime humour, tells the story of Maximillian Blackheart who sends a beautiful girl ot onto the cliffs at night to lure ships onto the rocks and sure destruction. The village girls then pick up the spoils all unknown to the (dozy) revenuemen.
