Sports Cars in the Park returns to Newby Hall

The largest celebration of sports and super cars in the North returns to Newby Hall, Ripon on Sunday 8 May 2022 and organisers are anticipating their biggest show yet.

Sports Cars in the Park is a firm favourite with not only sports car owners and enthusiasts but also visitors looking for a great day out.

Held in the magnificent setting of the park at Newby Hall, the popular event attracts more than 1,000 sports cars and 5,000 visitors. Cars attending must be a roadster, a sporty car, modified or unusual or fun in some way.

This year’s event is expected to bring together a wide range of prestigious modern, classic, vintage and cult car marques. Models on display include 12 McLaren super cars, including a customised McLaren Special Operations [MSO] model, as well as the rare sight of 7 Dodge vipers. Other cars on display will include TVR, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus, Maserati, Aston Martin, Porsche, Audi Sport, BMW, and Jaguar, as well as Mini and hot hatches.

Sports Cars in the Park brings together car clubs and individual enthusiasts who are passionate about sharing their highly prized cars with visitors - making the event a must for car aficionados. There will also be live acoustic music, and a range of trade stands for a great day out.

Stuart Gill, Commercial Director at Newby Hall, said: “We’re delighted to be hosting Sports Cars in the Park again this spring. Our extensive parkland is the perfect showcase for these magnificent vehicles.”

The admission price includes entry to Newby’s award-winning gardens, adventure playground, dolls house and teddy bear exhibitions.

Newby Hall is one of the UK’s finest Adam houses and is internationally celebrated as one of the largest and most complete surviving Chippendale interiors. Its 25 acres of gardens include one of Europe’s largest double herbaceous borders, an enchanted woodland walk and a miniature railway.
Gates open from 10am to 4pm Ticket prices are - adults £16 and children (aged 4-15) £12 (under 4’s free), family ticket £50.
