Strength and Balance Class for Falls prevention
A strength and balance class aimed at older adults, anyone with a disability or simply worried about falling.
Helps improve strength, balance, flexibility, mobility and co-ordination.
The balance exercises (from the otago exercise program) are performed behind chairs.
Strength work is done using therabands and hand weights.
There is an option for floor based exercise, for those wanting more of a challenge (own mat required).
Every Wednesday 1.30pm to 2.30pm.
FREE to attend but booking is essential as spaces are limited to 15 participants.
