Wye Valley River Festival: Merry Monmouth Day
The Wye Valley River Festival returns! There will be spectacular events in outstanding landscapes, streets and village greens - brimful of music, theatre, extraordinary creatures, fantastical mobile devices, trumpets, songs and laughter.
WVRF 2022’s inspiration is Human? Nature. After two years of pandemic distancing, we ask: How has our relationship with nature changed ? Who are we as part of the natural world ? What is in our nature ? What next ? And what can we do now ?
Merry Monmouth Day - Join a day of creativity, performance and play, taking over the streets with circus, street theatre, music, parades and more…! Curious creatures, weird machines and family-friendly performances from local and national groups will lead the lunchtime parade and a range of other shows and activities to get involved in throughout the day!
