Wye Valley River Festival: The Streets of Ross

From 27th May – 5th June the Wye Valley River Festival returns! There will be spectacular events in outstanding landscapes, streets and village greens - brimful of music, theatre, extraordinary creatures, fantastical mobile devices, trumpets, songs and laughter.

WVRF 2022’s inspiration is Human? Nature. After two years of pandemic distancing, we ask: How has our relationship with nature changed ? Who are we as part of the natural world ? What is in our nature ? What next ? And what can we do now ?

Streets of Ross - On Saturday 4th June we are joining forces with the Ross-on-Wye community for a Jubilee afternoon of festivities. There will be a colourful parade involving performers, new carnival costumes and puppets made with local young people, and quirky outdoor performances - bouncing kangaroos (on stilts), puppet shows, circus performance, a cycling piano duo and lots of funny and intriguing street theatre and circus roaming around town - with the main event happening in the gardens of St Marys Church and The Prospect.
11am-5pm. FREE to attend.
