Cookham Festival Sculpture Garden May 6th - May 22nd
This popular sculpture exhibition set in the beautiful grounds of the Odney Club is back. Running for the full two weeks of the Cookham Festival visitors will view an eclectic collection of sculpture created by talented artists from around the UK. Large and small scale works, in a variety of media, are carefully positioned throughout the grounds. Visitors can wander beneath specimen trees, along the water’s edge or by the herbaceous beds admiring the creations.
All the sculptures, some with multiple editions, will be available to purchase so if you are looking for that perfect piece to adorn your garden, or commission a bust of a special person (or pet) the Cookham Festival Sculpture Garden at the Odney Club is the place to come.
During your visit make sure you see the splendid Phocos photographic exhibition in the Foyer of the Sir Bernard Miller Centre, free entry for all visitors to the Cookham Festival Sculpture Garden.
And on Saturday 7th & 14th, between 2.00 - 4.00 PM, visitors are invited to hear or share their favourite poems from the Poetry Menu (with readings by local volunteers) at the Pop-Up Poetry Take-away!
Choose from a selection of some 120 poems covering topics such as family favourites and faraway places.
When you’ve finished your tour enjoy a lovely cup of tea and a naughty piece of cake before you make your way home.
