Plant and Cake Bring n Buy for Ukraine
Many hundreds of plants are being grown by gardeners and allotment holders around Reading to raise funds for the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. They are donating everything, potted and ready for you to plant, to a big Bring n Buy in a marquee in a garden in Caversham.
There’ll also be a wide range of homemade cakes, scones etc. to take away as well as jams and marmalades.
Not to mention used garden books and tools.
And there are prize draws for goods and vouchers donated by local shops, garden centres, restaurants, hairdressers and others.
The aim is to raise as much as we can for Ukraine. So, nothing is priced. Instead you choose what you want and make a donation to the DEC Appeal.
