Chelsea Barracks Spring Fair

From the 25th-27th May 2022 - Belgravia’s Chelsea Barracks is set to have its outdoor public areas transformed to coincide with, and celebrate, the Chelsea Flower Show. The development, which at its core champions British craftsmanship and design, will launch its Spring Fair and become a destination to sample the best of British food and beverage, artisanal inspired products and workshops and discussions from pioneers in the garden design field. The concept is a nod to this year’s Belgravia in Bloom theme, British and Iconic, in recognition of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The development’s entrances at Mulberry Square and Dove Place will be transformed with floral and plant installations by pioneer in Environmental Floristry Shane Connolly. An award-winning floral designer and Royal Warrant Holder, Connolly’s environmental ethos, renowned for his sustainable approach to flowers, is a perfect synergy with Chelsea Barracks as it complements the development’s philosophy on sustainability and LEED Platinum status. Chelsea Barracks will present its Best of British Garden Seminars, a series of events, workshops and talks curated by internationally renowned landscape and garden designer, and Chelsea Flower Show gold medallist, Jo Thompson. Gardening experts and design talents such as Jo Thompson herself, Jekka McVicar, Charlotte Harris and Hugo Bugg, Shane Connolly and The Land Gardeners, to name a few, will join panels to discuss topics such as environmental floristry, the gardener’s palette, the medicinal properties of herbs and how soil is the key to healthy plants, people and the planet. Tickets will be available to book via Country Life.
Free to enter. All talks cost £10 each.
