Manifesto Film plus Q&A

Daniel Draper's third Labour party documentary spotlights 'the safest labour seat in the country', Walton Consistuency.

Named in tribute to the labour party’s manifesto of ‘for the many’, the film charts the work of a host of party members under Jeremy Corbyn, including Dan Carden MP, Syed Anwar-ul-Haq and Claire Tierney, covering a tumultuous political climate which saw the spotlight on Brexit, the NHS and the fight for workers’ rights.

A wonderfully crafted tribute to Draper’s hometown of Walton, Manifesto rounds off the ‘Hope’ trilogy of films surveying the work of the contemporary labour party, championing the work of working-class communities, and granting them a vital voice in both politics and on film.

We welcome director Daniel Draper plus MSP Paul Sweeney alongside former MSP Neil Findlay for an in-person Q&A after our screening on 16th June.
