Art Exhibition by Faye Baines
Faye's striking acrylic paintings will be exhibited at the Attenborough Nature reserve throughout May. Pieces will be available for sale, and 30% of sales go to the charity Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust.
Faye graduated from Exeter University with a BA degree in Art and Education. After many years of work and family commitments, Faye rediscovered her love of painting. From a small start hand-painting cards, she has grown her artwork and now enjoys creating acrylic paintings.
Nature and landscapes provide Faye with inspiration for her paintings, and she especially enjoys painting coastal scenes, finding joy in swishy skies and swirly seas. The fluidity of the shapes she creates on the canvas brings her paintings to life.
Faye enjoys the challenge of commissions, interpreting locations that are close to clients’ hearts. The focus of these paintings is often coastal or countryside locations and the resulting work reflects each subject through her unique flowing style.
From her home studio in Nottingham UK, Faye brings us a world of sweeping images with beautiful shapes and composition.
