The Walnuts with bells on - An evening of Celtic and Americana music
Join The Walnuts for an evening of Celtic, folk and Americana music raising money for great causes
The Walnuts are a bunch of middle-aged guys (and that’s being kind to at least one or two of them)who love playing all sorts of music including Celtic, folk and Americana. They raise money for charities by playing concerts in people’s front rooms, back gardens, kitchens, village halls, churches, islands, boats, shop fronts, service stations, lighthouses and vineyards (anywhere really). Over the years they have toured both Europe and Scotland.
For one night only, The Walnuts are playing St Nicholas Church, Hurst, arriving via The Castle Inn across the road.
Join them in the pub at 7pm for a pre-concert drink, or if you prefer, you can get a glass of wine in church from 7pm and take your seat early. When the church bells stop ringing, it will be time for everyone to take their seat in the church for a unique performance from The Walnuts. No doubt, the band will be heading back to The Castle Inn afterwards!
Ticket sales and donations on the night will be shared between three great causes: The DEC Ukraine Appeal, Launchpad (Reading's Homeless Support Charity) and St Nicholas Church.
Please note:
Additional parking has been organised and will be clearly sign-posted upon arrival.
Ticket holders will be able to buy pizza for a special price at the Castle Inn any time from 6pm onwards.
No need to print your tickets, we can check them on your phone.
