Round and Round the Garden by Alan Ayckbourn is part of The Norman Conquests trilogy and is a Tony award winning play. It is wildly comic and deeply moving which is perfectly positioned for the Commandery Gardens and the annual return of our alfresco theatre production!
The Plot
All is calm, serene and peaceful when we meet Sarah who is desperate to have a nice, civilized weekend – but the sequence of events that unfold, as her family members arrive, ensures (not surprisingly) a weekend of disaster!

Sir Alan Ayckbourn is a prolific writer of comedy plays satirising middle-class manners; he is considered one of the world's finest dramatists.

Worcester Repertory Company, who bring you the epic family pantomime at the Swan Theatre each year, are delighted to be bringing this great play into their repertoire this Summer for what is always a favourite production in their performance calendar.

Bring yourself, your friends and family, pack a picnic (optional) bring a chair (none will be available to rent this year)/rug and you will be ready to join us in the sunshine for what promises to be a thoroughly enjoyable production! We will have a licenced bar on site, gates will open at 6pm (2pm for matinees).
